안녕하새요...
~Assalamualaikum wtb~
Alhamdulillah the highest praise to our creator Allah swt for letting me
to live in this dunya and lend me a chance to feel all of this. Alhamdulillah~~~
It's been a long time i guess since my last post. Im sorry for my long absence and also sorry for my grammatical wrong which i thought become even worst day by day. Oh, it might be because i didn't use english as often as my university life. Since final exam had finished, i just stayed at home helping my mom with house cores, watching korean drama (ch393 ofcourse), feed my cats, and so on. Can u see how much time i spent to improve my english? None! I realized that i should'nt let myself to live my life like this forever but to continuously gain knowledge especially To learn english in anyways. No excuses, no nonsense. *nekad*
By the way, i strongly believe that most of us know about the word '3in1'... I think, it can be use in certain situations such as for drinks, foods, cloths, work, or even in learning something. And yeah, i'd been practicing this 3in1 to learn some foreign languages since last october. I wanted to be multilingual, that's all. Hence, being a multilingual would benefit u in certain situation. Whatever it is, just believe that it will benefits u...
Guess what languages i learn currently? #korean and japanese#
Since i loves kpop so much, i learn korean more than japanese. Moreover, japanese is more difficult than korean. Japanese has so much special and unique characters in their alphabet and it is hard to remember all of them in one shot. Surprisingly, i got it so easy to learn a very basic korean. I started with their alphabet, pronounciation, remember and try to form a new sentence without looking at the internet or paper. I succeed! :-D believe me.. Now, i can read korean language (hangul) with 90% confidence just in almost 2 months by my self. I dont asks any help from anyone, but just learn in by guidence from the internet, and by watching korean drama and also kpop song. If u see the title of this post, it's pronounce as 'annyeonghasaeyo' which means 'greetings' or 'hello'... I would like to show you a sentence in hangul, but unfortunately i am using my sister's tablet and it didn't have hangul keyboard as we can setting in laptop or smartphone. Nevermind, i will show u more hangul sentence in my next posts, insyaAllah..
So here the screencap picture of my handwriting in hangul...
"Annyeonghasaeyo... jeoneun afidah-eyo... Ban gawayo"
Tr: Hello... i'm afidah... Nice to meet you
Till then

This is my final semester story
~Assalamualaikum wtb~
Alhamdulillah... I am very grateful to Allah swt for everything I've got in my whole life. Alhamdulillah.. For the moment, i'll only just write a short update due to final exam and laziness..
By the way, i just settled with my final presentation where me and my partner have to present our Independent Study (commonly known as a thesis) a few days ago. That was a very nervous day ever as a university student. We have to do our own research according to the title we interested and approved by the advisor. It's quite tough since we can't do or create our own sentences nor ideas. Everything we wrote need citation, quotation, or whatsoever. In the other word, we have to show with the proof for everything we need to put in our own so called thesis. On 24th June 2013, we finally got our turn to present and it is a quiet relief since our panel did not so annoyed and they had asked us much questions which could help us to get a better grade for this task.Alhamdullilah..
The title has a little mistake there.. It should be "Factors Contributing TO Youth Travelers To Travel In Malaysia.."
Yeah, we had done our research about Factors Contributing To Youth Travelers To Travel In Malaysia and thanks to the max for those who do help us directly or indirectly in the process of completing this. Thank you everyone. May ALLAH grant you with successfulness till the end. InsyaAllah...
Well, this time the picture was where we finished our presentation. Can you see the happy face, BIG smile, 'peace' sign?... It shows the relief from the bottom of our heart.. Thank You Allah...
So at the moment, we are in the middle of our final battle in exam. We do hope you guys can pray for us, because all we want to get is to GRADE ON TIME... InsyaAllah..
Till then,
~Wassalam~

Short break - Gawai Festival
~Assalamualaikum wtb~
Alhamdulillah, syukur kehadrat Allah swt dgn izinNya aku masih mampu bernafas di muka bumi ini. Semoga bila nafas terakhirku telah tiba, aku tetap berada dalam keadaan menyebut nama Allah swt. InsyaAllah Aamiin..
Hello everyone. It was quite long I didn't post anything in this 'dorm'.. Yeah, as you can see, my blog has been changed to a new name and also the background. I have changed them since I and maybe some of you get bored with my blog. So then, I changed the name to be "my-free-dorm" which means, I am free to write anything in my mind in this "dorm".. Also with the background, I'v already changed it to a brand new background. Thanks a lot to my sister Hafiezah the blog owner of nurthecutie for helping me by giving some guidance in order to 'upgrade' my-free-dorm to be a bit more attractive. I'll do some more if I got more free time to do so.. =)
Malaysia will be celebrating a festival called Gawai Festival which is purposely celebrate for those who are living in Sarawak and specifically for Iban, Bidayuh, and some more ethnics in Sarawak. This festival usually will be celebrated during end of May or early June.
My university (UiTM) is giving a short break for their students to celebrate this festival. It's because, UiTM's students consists variety of ethnics who came from the peninsular and also from Borneo part (Sabah and Sarawak). That is the reason why UiTM is giving this short break is to give a chance for their students who celebrating it to go back in their hometown.
Actually, the short break will be started on 25th May until 2nd June (Including saturday+sunday). But, I've bought a return flight ticket on 23th May until 3rd June. Hahaha, I know what you are thinking now. It's a norm when a student bought a flight ticket earlier and just came back a day after the break finished. Firstly, I think that I just have to stay here since it is just a short break and it is costly to buy a flight ticket. But, when your dad had offered you to buy flight tickets, would you refuse it? Hell NO! Its for free yawww.. Who does not like to go back to our hometown.. So, I decided to buy a ticket faster in avoiding the changes of ticket fare to be more expensive.
I got an email from Malaysia Airline and Alhamdulillah, my flight ticket is confirmed and I am now counting the days to see my family, my cats, my niece, my nephew, and all my all.

1st April 2013
~Assalamualaikum wtb~
Alhamdulillah, syukur kehadrat Allah swt dgn izinNya aku masih mampu bernafas di muka bumi ini. Semoga bila nafas terakhirku telah tiba, aku tetap berada dalam keadaan menyebut nama Allah swt. InsyaAllah Aamiin..
Well, i'm posting not because today is a April Fool. It is actually prohibited for us as a Muslim to celebrate that kind of so-called ceremony. I don't know, what does April Fool mean and for what??? I didn't see that celebrating April Fool is a need or give benefits for us especially Muslim. So, once again i am strictly stated that I don't have any interest, no intention to celebrate or doing something special just because today is a April Fool.
Btw, I have class (the only class on Monday) today at 10.30 am which me usually will get ready at 9.00 am at least. Yeah, I was almost finished preparing my self to go to class this morning. Woke up early, breakfast, well-dressed, and luckily I didn't wearing my hijab yet when my roommate told me that this morning class was cancelled. Dang!!!! Hahahaha... It could be a good news for students (mostly) to know that no class for the whole day but NOT when u only know that 'good' news once you almost done especially with your well-dressed just like me just now. However, I should be grateful since I've time to finished up my assignment, notes, and IS (Independent Study@Thesis). I wish.... So, I will finished them all right after blogging...
Another story that makes me being damn excited is that, I will go for a vacation with 2 of my housemates Fatin n Gdah during our mid-semester break coming soon. Motel for 3 nights, and return flight ticket for 3 pax were done last night.
This is our motel confirmation voucher via Agoda.com
Our return flight confirmation tickets via MAS airlines
Yeah, we planned to go to Langkawi (langkawi jer kerrrr?) for 3 nights from 22nd April until 25th April. We actually don't have enough information about the location but we will stay at the hotel near to Pantai Chenang. We choose Pantai Chenang since most of my friends suggested us to stay there. Anyone been there before? Proud to say that I never been there, even Langkawi itself. Kesian kan? So, this will be my first time to see Langkawi with my own eyes. Roughly, each of us spent almost RM 250 for accommodation and also for the flight ticket so far which I think worth enough for gamble backpackers like us. We decided to go to Langkawi as backpackers, that we think quite interesting and challenging. Within these 3 weeks before the date, we will struggle to collect as much as informations needed.
Last but not list, I wish nothing bad happen during our vacation and may anything will be going smooth. My friend told me, "we can start with this challenge as a gambled backpacker as a preparation for our future vacation to Korea soooooooon.." Yeah, I hope we can get opportunity to fulfill our dream to go to Korea one day.InsyaAllah Aamiin....

RISEAP - IIUM
~Assalamualaikum wtb~
I am currently sitting and facing my lappy in a small but perfect room with my sister Azimah. Perfect room? Yeah, this room equipped with a single bed with 1 pillow and blanket, locker, bathroom+toilet+utilities, balcony, fan, air-conditioning, mini freezer, internet access off course single sofa, long mirror, personal table with chair, and also mini coffee table.
The place where my sister stay for a month.. Sudah pasti saya juga tumpang sekaki di tempat ini.. :D
IIUM main building
So, im sure u can imagine how comfortable the room provided for my sister and the rest of the participants. Actually she have a short course of Islamic Da'wah for a month held in International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM), organized by Regional Islamic Da'wah Council of Southeast Asia and the Pacific or RISEAP. The 16 participants came from different country has been selected by the RISEAP. Only 5 candidates from Malaysia (2 Sabah + 2 Sarawak + 1 Pahang), and the rest are from Hongkong, Taiwan, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka.
At first, I was planning just to visit my sister since we cannot have chance to meet often. So i decided to stay here since last wednesday (yeah, all my classes was cancelled) till this sunday, In Shaa Allah. Look, my plan just to visit my sister ended up with an awkward feeling from inside of my heart. I just didn't know how can i explain or confront that feeling. Frankly, i am quite jealous with my sister for her to have this precious chance because they got so much benefits for themselves. Not to mention how friendly all the participants even they only can communicate in English. Some of them cannot speak in English properly, but that is not a big issue as long as the other can still understand what they are trying to deliver.
What am I trying to point out here is my sister is very lucky to be one of them. She made some new friends from different country, meet up here and gain knowledge about Islam together. The day i arrived here, i got chance to have a short conversation with the girls from Hongkong, Taiwan, Myanmar, and Cambodia. You know what? They're freaking friendly. I wish soon i will get the same chance as my sister.
Aamiin
